About This Blog
This blog is intended to be a place for me to share . . .
- what our family is up to at any given moment;
- anything pertaining to art, theology, literature, etc. that I find interesting;
- to share my frustrations, heartaches and joys (hopefully more of the latter);
- what is happening in our gardens throughout the year;
- plus whatever else I feel like sharing.
Monday through Wednesday will consist of my personal writings. "For Fun Thursdays" will consist of images or videos I have found amusing. "Picture of the Week" will be posted on Fridays and will be my favorite personal picture taken that week. The weekends (Saturday and Sunday) will be open, I may or may not post something. If I do it will most likely be a HT to another blogger who had something interesting to say.
Please know that I mean no disrespect, I don't want to hurt anyone or put anyone down. This blog is simply my thoughts and opinions, in short, this blog is about my life.
About Me
I am a wife to an LCMS pastor, the mother of three beautiful boys entrusted to me by God and hoping to someday grow our family through Wisconsin's special needs foster to adoption program. Most importantly, I am the adopted daughter of Christ my Lord and Savior!
We are also home to an overly affectionate cat and a 68 pound female lab who thinks she is a lap dog. I enjoy occupying my time by reading, cooking (and writing about it occasionally) vegetable gardening (my husband takes care of the flower gardening), hiking and camping with my four boys and volunteer teaching art and art history at our children’s school.

In any case, it got
